Definitely the point. There's no need for you to spend as much as $4K. Custom suits using designer fabrics only ranges from $1k - $2k and anything below designer fabric ranges from $950 below. I wonder where you get that amount. Crazy 100%. I had mine tailored by Hiras Fashion for $899 FYI.

I get very nice Hugo Boss suits at Nordstrom when they have their annual sale. And Nordstrom will tailor them completely. Very nice suit.

The overseas option is what my buddy uses. Now that they have his measurements, he just sends them an email and they send another suit. $200 and it's nicer than my Hugo Boss. Just don't gain or lose weight.

Yea, it would be a complete waste unless you haven't had any weight change at all and can have it last for years. I bought 2 custom made shirts last year, and the fit was awesome and they are really comfortable. It was 'only' about $90 so not outrageous, and I'm tall with a long torso so i liked that I could wear a longsleeved shirt without having to roll up the sleeves.

Well, I started swimming a lot more the past 6 months and because of the increased muscle they don't fit. They are flannel-like so I just wear it open and wear it around the house so it still works.

Similar situation with my suit. I have 1, bought it at macy's 4 years ago. The jacket doesn't fit comformtably because of my swimming, but it's fine for pictures, so I put it on for a picture and take it off, or just carry it around like an accessory, including job interviews. Nobody has ever questioned it or noticed
