Hey,

I wrote in my blog that I was going to be on Suze show can I afford it and you'll want me to post my buget so that you'll can tell me first so here it goes. I would like to buy an Garmin Nuvi 200W GPS which flex in price 169 on up. Ok Everything is factual but there are some thing in the midst of being change like my Life Insurance. I changed policies so I'm in the midst of canceling my dd and myself life Insurance policy with the other company but is keeping my husband on there. the company just went up on us. $61. So I'm waiting for confirmation from the to know what the money bill will be. All so dining out depends on the month. I don't eat out every month. Last month I Went to the melting pot so that was $30. My Electricity some months are highter than that. Last month is was 178.00. Is my after tax funds my roth and roth 401k?

I am not a number cruncher myself but the short peek at yours says ...No?

It looks like your debt is just the CC which is 405 a month? but the real question I have is how long will it take you to pay off?

if that is 405 this month and then done, buy the GPS next month, if it is 405 a month in month one of a 5 year aggressive plan to pay off the CC, no GPS.

I might be totally not understanding your numbers though. After all I hope the total income of 0 is wrong.....that and if you really put 1500 into savings each month... I would pay off the CC first. (ok one month save 1500, next month pay it to CC)

I'm pay 270 extra on my cc debt so that I can pay it off by June 2009 and that only if I don't increase it.

I didn't see this my monthly income would be $1800

I am guessing you have 1500 in a EF though?

I have 1638.58 in my EF as of today but next week that will change to 2188.

Your first post is really confusing. What are all of those things? Can you just list your actual income, actual savings and actual expenses? Your first post looks like it has a whole slew of things that don't actually apply to you. You didn't list your income which makes it impossible to evaluate anything else. And give the balance on the credit card - not the monthly payment.

I can tell you right now that if you have credit card debt, Suze will say NO to a luxury purchase.

Yep. She'll deny you because of the CC debt. We often wonder when watching the show if people calling in actually think they can afford the item or if they are just calling to be on TV. I guess many do just call for the fun of it. They already know what the answer will be.
