Did anyone get their money today?????? My last two digits are in the first group that were meant to be send out today. I filed my taxes on time and got direct deposit but the money is not in my account yet did anyone get theirs???? and i definetly do not earn too much to be ineligible for it?? any advice

I am in the same situation as you and I did not get a direct deposit yet. Here is the situation. The IRS started depositing the money, but only to 800,000 people. They will do the same Tue, and Wed, none on Thur and then to about 5 million on Friday. So if you were supposed to get money by May 2, it will definitely come by May 2. You may get lucky and have it come a few days early, but it isn't guaranteed until Friday. I have no idea how they are deciding who gets the money early and who has to wait until Friday. I guess I will check my bank account again tomorrow.

We are suppose to be in the first group too, but nothing for us either. Though we are eligible, we never did get a letter, so part of me is even wondering if it will actually come through for us. Hold tight until Friday and see what happens though.

Last 2 of my SS is 14 and we didn't get anything today either

I think the first group is supposed to be finished by the end of the week. Maybe they just started crediting them today...

Both mine and my wife's came together. My ss ends with 10 and hers ends with 70 so I guess they went with the first SS on the tax form.

We got our money today. My # is 05 and my husband's is 16. However we did not get the $300 rebate for our son. Do you think they're going to process it by his SSN which is 79? I would've thought it would've come with mine since I claimed him.

No, I think they messed up. You will be able to get the difference in your 2008 tax rebate when you file next April. Did you file late?

How old is your son? You only get the rebate if he is under age 17.

hmm.. our last digit is 06 and we still did not get our rebates. We did file our taxes early and both of us recieved the letter that we will get the rebate.
