Be good at what you do. regardless of how much money you currently make, the number 1 attribute of most financially successful. financially independant people is they are good at what they do.

I am a good soccer coach... not great, not the best, but better than most. I did it for free the last 7 years, and just found someone willing to pay me for it ($50/hour). I know several trainers which charge upwards of $120/hour, but they do it for a living.
