Ugh. Not my style (or my wife's) at all. Not the least bit appealing to me. Neither of us like the ultra-modern design style. If we were shopping for a $250 million house, that one would not be on our list.

    * Despite the high cost of living, it remains very popular.
    * Why should I pay for my daughter's education when she already knows everything?
    * There are no shortcuts to anywhere worth going.

I am sure I would love the view but I don't want that big of house regardless of my wealth. I don't want that much house to clean and I don't want strangers spending countless hours in my home to do things for me.

I'd much prefer a huge ranch and massive acreage with a pretty basic house and outbuildings, sitting someplace remote and scenic. Could probably get 200,000+ acres in one of the western states for the same money.

That amount of $$ could buy a LOT of income-producing rental houses! I could buy my entire neighborhood PLUS the adjoining neighborhood, and still have money left over for upgrades.

Owning an entire neighborhood sounds awesome.

I would love to buy the mortgage for my next door neighbor's house. Every time his dog craps in my yard, I would wave the document and tell him "make sure you don't miss a payment!"

My father always joked that he wanted to buy the house next door (we lived in a row home) and connect the two with a couple of doorways.

Where I live it's all apartments, I'd love to buy two and make them into a two-storey one!

Exterior, the house looks like a parking garage. Love that car collection, bowling alley, 40 seat theater and pool tho!

Warren Buffett can purchase the house spending just his interest after a week. He makes 37mil per day..lol.

For people who are worth way too much, I think they should buy items like these just to hedge against hyper inflation and market crashes.

But do you think they should buy a house like this one, or a great big bunch of more moderately priced properties?

P.S. - I thought the theater was cool too.
