  • best website to buy/sell individual stocks online

    Hi-
I've only invested in the market through retirement vehicles to this point and I'm looking for guidance on how to purchase individual stocks (best websites, etc).

I'm thinking of buying some stock in Amazon (would love to hear thoughts on this as well).

    thanks!

I like CapitalOne Investing (formerly Sharebuilder when i first signed up many years ago) for my stocks, but here is a link you can look at.

The best brokers to trade stocks include Fidelity, Charles Schwab, Interactive Brokers, Moomoo, Public, Robinhood and Webull. The best brokerage account for you depends on your investing goals.

The best and easiest way to invest is Your Favorite Stocks By The Dollar a website and an app that allows you to sign up for free and trades are only 99 cents. Instead of having to spend over budget you can spend a custom amount up to 1,000 like 239 dollars of Apple and you could have fractional shares. https://www.stockpile.com

I used Trade King because they are cheap, but their tax forms are nonsensical. Two different CPA's had to take a while to figure them out. Trade King is now Ally as of last month, so I'm hoping for clearer tax forms. So far, so good with them.

I'm looking into moving to Schwab or Fidelity if I have any more problems.

I use robinhood for all my individual stock investing. It's free so why not. Terrible for day traders, but awesome for people who go long.

I also use Capital One (sharebuilders) for my stocks and my Roth IRA. Choices can be confusing enough without some guy that doesn't understand me or my needs trying to push his saving agenda on me, so I am happy to make the decisions myself. And no one to blame but myself.
