My gosh what has this country come to, to allow that? Astounding really.

It makes me sad when conservatives who are forced by the government (I get conflicting evidence of whether Texas requires it) to buy insurance before they can drive turn around and whine, bitch and moan about how horrible it is that the government forces them to but insurance.

That is the purposefully slippery slope towards Single Payer. Agreed!
My gosh, what has it come to when people are so blatantly hypocritical about government mandated insurance??
Guess I'm missing your point here. Where exactly is the hypocrisy you claim ?
And yes, Bummercare is the law in all 50 states.Last edited by TexasHusker; 01-09-2017, 07:36 PM.

IF, OTOH, you'd only fulminated against government-mandated lack-of-choice, I'd have been with you 100%. But you didn't. You took the intellectually sloppy bumper-sticker path instead.

Question...for obamacare...lets say someone is 60 years old and wants to retire. Is money drawn from their 401k considered income? If its not considered income thats good news for anyone wanting to retire early (like 50's). Your insurance through obama would be dirt cheap if you're using money from savings/index funds...guess your salary would be considered $0?
