Well, this *did* spur me to looking into CDs, and found that CapOne 360 has 12 month CDs at 1.3%. So I opened one... (EDIT: and will be opening more every quarter.)

We used to do that, but I got tired of changing accounts once or twice a year.

About 4 years ago we settled on Ally.

PS - I'm referring to money market accounts that we use for our EF. Our checking account has been at the same CU for at least 15 years.
