Legit, Honest sites to research Annuities

I am looking for honest websites where I can research annuities, any suggestions?

Any suggestions on good annuities to look into? I am looking for lower risk, but fairly high return. Yes, a pipe dream I know, but let's hear some suggestions.

If I ever do buy an annuity, I will buy one from Vanguard. The lower the fees, the better the return for the investor.

I recently learned that when I decide to retire I can convert my TSP (Fed retirement 401k equiv)to an annuity combined with the annuity that is part of the program. How do I figure out if this is a good deal or not.

I hope I am not hijacking the thread.
