I managed to find some money and rebought Gilead calls right before they took off...best trade ever! This has been a $10,000 day and my account is small!

If you didn't get stopped out of your Tesla trade, it is now almost $195.

      Nice!
As for me, nope, got out of it.

This is a good article. Totally agree with it.

Premarket, hit 44... BTW, I would definitely not buy here... the play was to buy BEFORE the news, then sell immediately when the news was released. Yeah, it may go to 40 again (well, at least it probably will run back up after a period of consolidation, but who knows if that is here at 35, or at 30...

So I bought 40 Gilead August $67.50 calls for $5.90 last Thursday and today I sold Gilead August $70 calls for $6.35.

I now have negative $1800 invested and a max potential return of $10,000.

For the record, I consider ECYT _extremely_ undervalued at these levels.

7.27 now. I expect we will hit 10 in a couple of months, probably 15 in a year.

              not my article:

This is not investing advice. Do your own DD.

I'd like to see what happens when the conditional approval gets rescinded though... still, trading at nearly cash, this is discounting so much.

              No position currently.

Also an interesting update to the F-R rule... was wondering what he talked about at the AACR conference.

TSLA earnings after the bell... the big question is, do you think it will be as positive as the last earnings? because that was pretty darn bullish. So much positive expectations... anything less than perfection, and IMO it drops to 180-185... we will see. Should be an interesting one.

Interesting timing. I had been looking at ECYT since the huge fall and took a small position today at $6.60 (1000 shares). They have over 200m in cash, close to market cap. This one seems similar to where Vanda was when it was trading at $3.90 and had $4.50 in cash (now trading at $13, recently as high as $19).

If ECYT is anywhere near these levels or below in a few months, I'd like to pick up 30-40k shares... But it often takes longer than one thinks. We shall see what happens. I also want to see if it gaps down again when the EU (likely) rescinds their positive opinion.

Yes, I may double down at that gap down (probably to around $5 a share?) but if for some reason EU doesn't rescind their opinion $6.60 is going to look cheap.

185... boom goes the dynamite... heheh too bad for those longs that thought 260 was a buy when I was telling everyone that EVERYBODY said this would go to, oh, a billion...

Um, hope you didn't buy at 252... don't buy when everyone is telling you to buy. Just a simple strategy.

I'm pretty sure that if the pps is anywhere below 6.60 when the EU rescinds their opinion, since it is SO widely expected, it will probably gap down (maybe to 5.50 ish?) but that gap down at the open will immediately be bought and will probably be THE low, and will probably close the day green. We will see.

Except for AFFY, almost all of the bios we examined on here that sold off recovered either very nicely or somewhat nicely. VNDA, CHTP, even AVNR. AFFY is the type type of investment you hope you avoid getting caught in. Still, it had some very good pops before the disaster.

I have made quite a lot of money on Gilead so I am feeling bio frisky at the moment.

Ahhh AFFY... what a blast from the past... apparently the investigation is still going on... that one is either going to open up at 10c or 3$ one day... feeling lucky, punk? haha

GILD is kinda funny I gotta say... they announced _another_ 5B$ share buyback... after only getting through 2.9B$ of their previous 5B$ buyback...

                                Napodano's tweet is classic

Does anyone actually finish a share buyback in Biotech, or do they just announced another one after they get 1/2 through the previous one?
