Hello guys,
Whai is the difference between capital groth mutual fund and dividend growth mutual fund?
Generally, a "capital growth", or just "growth", or "capital appreciation" fund is one which focuses on companies which are still in their growth phase. They are new, or they are expanding into new markets, or into new products, or some combination of those. Generally, a "dividend growth" or "equity income" fund is one which focuses on mature companies which pay steady dividends, especially those which have a history of increasing their dividends, or which the fund manger believes will be increasing dividends in the future.
