What to do about nephews

I don't think that they would feel hurt or belittled.

I think she will have alot of sleepless nights worrying about how they will afford college.

I think my brother-in-law is the type just to let it go because he'd think it is something that he can do nothing about.

Both would be grateful for the money.

If they had access to it, my sister is the type to protect it. My brother in law is the type to find a way to "borrow" some of it.

it's amazing that you seems to bother yourself by thinking for your nephew's future and I'll go for keeping it to yourself and then give it when the right time comes.it's better not to inform them,thinking that their parents might depends on you and not going to pursue their child education anymore...sort of...

Sounds like a kind gesture, I would keep it in your name and give them installments when the time is right
