Bookie, You would be the life of the party.!! Seriously, I have always wanted to have a big party, with a live band playing and a bartender and lots of food!
I'm saving for a 14 day trip to Europe that I will be going on in July. I signed up over a year ago so that I would be able to make payments on it . . .

If anyone should be able to throw a fun bash, Ima, it would be you, and thanks for the vote of confidence.
Just think of the small town scandal -- Ima and her frugal friends whooping it up out there.
Gosh, this party could be interesting. If you wanted to be frugal, you could have us all bring a dish. That would save some money on the food. Perhaps have advertisers provide the plates, napkins and such. We could really be creative here!
Well, princess, what would your bring when you fly down? I have some great potatoes made with carmalized onions and chicken broth and topped with Parmesan cheese.
Fudge is my favorite food, especially if it is chocolate!! Princess, you wouldn't even have to fly, I don't think we are that far apart!! Now, fudge, that would be something to SAVE for!!
Retirement (though we are better off than most because we both will have small pensions)
Replacement cars
Home furnishings/improvement
Daughter's college
The boring stuff? -retirement, college for kiddos, next car purchase, beefing up the EF and sub EFs bit by bit, the kids' 8th grade DC trips
The fun stuff?- A Disney trip, eventually (hopefully within a few years), paying down the mortgage (roughly 8 years to go, and yes, I'm the 'nerd' who finds watching the mortgage go downward, ever downward 'fun')
The 8 year figure is conservative. Hubby works a day job and is self-employed, part time, so income can fluctuate quite a bit and time will tell
