  • Don't forget! Target gift cards 10% off this upcoming weekend (Dec6&7)

    Target Gift cards 10% off Dec 6 & 7.

Target is gearing up to make the holidays bright with great deals, our largest holiday assortment ever and an industry-leading team.

Also, did anyone find any good deals over black Friday and cyber Monday?

Our microwave stopped working over the T-Giving holiday, so bought a new one. We finally settled on a smaller one (than we had) for $114. Maybe not that spectacular of a deal, but it is nice to have a microwave again.

Today I am going to go shopping for a new winter coat. I think the great deals may be over, but REI has a sale that is supposed to continue until 8 Dec.

I still need a new computer (still on windows 10) which I had hoped to replace over BF/CM but--the deals didn't seem that great. Also, I am not sure which platform I want to use. My sister switched to Mac and doesn't seem to be too traumatically impacted. I'm wondering if someone of my advanced age can make the change.

We will do the Target deal. We do it every year.

As for Black Friday, I had been thinking about getting DW a massage gift card for her birthday. I got an email from the local place that they were doing BOGO this past weekend which is a huge savings so I ran over there on Saturday morning and got her two massages for the price of one, a savings of about $140.

On Friday, our meal prep place had a 20% off sale so I went over and bought our meals for the week.

    * Despite the high cost of living, it remains very popular.
    * Why should I pay for my daughter's education when she already knows everything?
    * There are no shortcuts to anywhere worth going.

It's called Kenny's Meals. It's local. I think he has 3 locations now. Food is good. We've liked every meal we've tried. Meals are under $10 each. The people are really nice. And they have a rewards program so we get a $5 coupon after every $150 spent. We usually get 3 meals for each of us each week. We use them for lunches generally. The meals are fresh, not frozen, so are only good for a week.
