Texas - I ran into a similar issue with Washington Mutual a decade ago. I had signed up for an option arm (my mistake), every month they raised the payment.

I guess the question I'd ask is: have you mentally weighed the cost of getting rid of them and are you prepared to pay it?

Wow the fact Di TECH cannot handle honest criticism says a lot about that company. Is there any other moves on their appeal process ??

Years ago before I refinanced I had my loan sold I honestly believe most of these types of companies that buy up mortgages have departments just to screw with homeowners. Playing games with Escrow or changing payments without GOOD notice is just business as usual.
I used to be judgmental about some friends or co-workers whom always had trouble like this, I thought they bit off more then they could handle etc but the common denominator are the companies that hold the mortgage and the payment changing game.

Like many companies, they only want you to *think* they care, as that boosts profits. The truth is, DiTech makes a fortune doing this to people, and despite what their "survey" says, they don't really care how it make the customer feel.

Wow! So the fee is described in their literature? Or this fee just made up?

Forget surveys...find a C-level email and CC the OCC/CFPB/AG from your state about their practices...the fee will be gone.

Well, I thought I would give the survey another try:

              You "moderate" negative reviews

Why would you bother asking customers for their review, when you simply "moderate" out the ones that are poor? That's what you just did to me. It speaks further about your company's lack of ethics and self-serving nature. Don't ask customers for reviews if you have no intention of publishing anything that puts DiTech in a negative light.

              Response:

Our staff has read your review and values your contribution even though it did not meet all our website guidelines. Thanks for sharing, and we hope to publish next time!

              Submit something new

              Thanks again,

Is it not possible to submit a negative review without it being removed?

Try giving 5 stars while writing the same thing. A lot of companies delete bad reviews, so when I see a 5 star review that has a bad experience written, I no longer assume the person doesn't know what stars mean.

I understand that 2 years have passed, but last week the same situation happened to me. What did you do in the end? Did you pay the entire fee? Recently, there are more and more scammers and I do not want to be deceived. In my life, there were too many unpleasant situations when people cheated on me for money. I am very happy that I was finally able to find a reliable forex broker with the experience that really helps me make money. I hope that you will help me to deal with this issue because so far it seems to me that it is not worth paying this entire fee.

My mortgage increased every year because of taxes, but I never had such an issue...

Unfortunately, Texas Husker has chosen to no longer participate here. I don't believe he will be answering your question.
