  • This site is screwed up today

I'm guessing some update happened but it screwed up the site.

It is showing that I'm logged in but also has the Click Here to Login button on the screen.
I can reply to threads but the Like button is gone.
Threads that I've opened and read are still showing as New/Unread on the Today's Posts screen.

Yeah, a bunch of little things have all gone haywire. Another one is the "go to first new post" button on unread threads is gone.

Yesterday/overnight, the site was totally inaccessible, asking for a vBulletin (or whatever system the site is based on) user registration number.

When I post, the site seems to not recognize that I'm the one who posted, and calls my post a "new/unread post".

On the blog side, the comments are not working.

All - thank you, I am working with the tech team to get these resolved as soon as possible.

I noticed it seems to be half-upgraded, or in the process of an upgrade. We pay for what we get, or, at least I do! - membership is free

James, is your tech team all-volunteer?
          History will judge the complicit.

UA_Guy - no. They're paid. We have a contractor over the weekend, and the team comes back Sunday evening - so we should see most of the issues resolved then.

Our tech team is up and should be on this.

Comments on the user blogs should be back momentarily if not they are not already.

Community - we have resolved some of these core issues - however, it looks like the "like" feature has been removed from vbulletin and instead replaced with emojis.

Which isn't the same thing at all. Being able to Like a post is much quicker and easier than having to quote and reply with an emoji. Oh well.
