Last post for 2018. I'm working tomorrow so won't do any more decluttering.
I did go to Goodwill today. We took over 3 cartons of stuff, an old golf game, several board games, and a VCR.
I did another session in the basement going through the closet where we store a lot of our serving pieces, entertaining items, and such. I pulled out a bunch of things that I was pretty sure DW would agree with getting rid of. She came down a bit later and was good with all but one or two items and she added a couple to the pile that I thought she wanted to keep. I think the final tally was 16 items to donate and a few things into the trash.
The other thing while cleaning out that closet was that I had realized that there were several items in there for which the box was also in there but they weren't together, so I put everything back into its box which helped condense things and free up more space.
I'll pack up the items we are eliminating first chance I get and those will go in the next Goodwill run.
I also went into the attic to search for the boxes for 2 items I want to resell. I found one of the boxes. I'm not sure if we actually have the original box for the other. If we did, the attic is most likely where it would have been but it wasn't. I guess that will probably go to Goodwill instead of ebay. I don't want to risk shipping it without the original packaging, and it isn't worth as much without the box anyway.
