On more than a couple of occasions I've heard it coming from his side of the fence. I've never called the police over domestic disputes.

I did send him a letter by certified mail stating he owed me $90 and that I expected to be paid in the next 30 days. I've got my fingers crossed he steps up, but if not I will get to learn about the court system.
I've never heard it before from any of our neighbors and we've usually shared walls. Only a rager occasionally when we didn't have kids and a 20 and 22 year old brothers lived below us. But nothing like this.

Well I looked the window into my back yard at 7:30 this morning. He was swinging away at golf balls in the rain (just sprinkling). Either he finally read the letter I sent or he is seriously devoted to his sport.

Honestly, I would have been pretty irate if you told me I owed you $2,000 for that golf ball sized indentation in your siding. I assume it isn't noticeable unless you are very close to the house, and covers a teeny tiny fraction of it. Seems like he has a net/backstop, and nearly all of them do not land in your yard. I think my strategy would have been to show him the indentation, in a causal, sh#t happens kind of way, and say that I'd just patch it up, no worries. He would likely be real careful in the future because you were so nice about it.

Ergo some of them do land in my yard.
