Did you check the sodium content of the sauce, sausage, and paste? The amount of sodium in processed foods can vary dramatically, from modest to ridiculously high. I'm always very careful to read the labels when buying stuff like that and try to pick the ones with the lowest sodium content.

I buy the same brand all the time for all the ingredients. I tasted the sauce in each can the second time and 2 of the 3 were super salty, so I decided to order pizza. I just don't understand why in this day and age that Contadina can't get proper controls for their salter, or at least figure out which cans to pull if they know the salter needs to be recalibrated.

While this isn't a financial loss, I lost 4 hours of my life today when I woke up to the police knocking on my door this morning. I decided to just throw out the 55 gallon aquarium instead of wasting time cleaning and trying to sell it. The garbage man dropped it and got glass everywhere. Across the street, 2 houses down, in my grass, etc. So instead of my neighbors kindly letting me know, or calls Streets and San or the garbage collection co, they call the police on me. And the cop was mad that he had to come to my house when he can't do anything about glass, the city is mad because I had the gall to ask for a street sweeper and told me that the garbage co needs to clean it, and the garbage co won't answer their phone. So I cleaned it as best I could while idiot drivers are driving around me. One woman drove past me 4 times within 30 mins just to see what I was doing. I'm waiting for lawsuits now when everyone's tires go flat. And I had to vacuum up a bunch of the new mulch we just put down. I will have to buy more. Now I have blisters on my hands and my wrists are killing me, but not quite enough to not spend the time to type all this out because my need to bitch and moan overpowers my pain.

A piece of advice...if you see someone sweeping and/or vacuuming the street, it probably isn't because they are clean freaks. Drive down a different street.

That is strange. So much for quality control.

Around $4000 in Vegas, inside a dark room.

But it was so worth it.
