We have a roomba, but one day one of the doggies poo poo'd in the study and poo poo and roombas don't like each other: The roomba ran over the poo poo and proceeded to spread it throughout the room with the brushes. That poor roomba had poo poo in every orfice, and the room had poo poo in every strand of carpet.

It was so bad that a professional carpet cleaner had to take the carpet up and simply replace it - it was beyond cleaning.

So beware of roombas if you have dogs that go poo.

Ugh. I was eating a brownie when I read this and had to throw it away. I'm still not sure if I will vomit or not.

Amen. We have a Miele Dog & Cat and love it. It was expensive (shopped around for the best deal we could find on one, of course, but still) . . . and it was worth it!

I've heard of Miele but had to look up the cat and dog model. I hate how much I spent on my Riccar because it doesn't have any attachments, but it is super light. I can vacuum the stairs even with my bad wrists. It looks like the Miele is 21 lbs. That's a work out for me.
