No doubt a lot of condos operate that way but you should shop around a bit.

Although our vacation is 7 days, the condo we stay at does not do the Saturday to Saturday or Sunday to Sunday like others we have stayed at. If we wanted to book for 10 days, they would happily accept it.

We don't vacation. Our vacation days are booked with kids doctors appts. we've adapted to doing stay-cations at our home. That's all we can do right now.

We officially vacation around two weeks a year between occasional days to the beach, and spending a week in KY to visit my inlaws. It is very relaxing to lay around all day and do nothing. Eat someone else's food. Not be stressed by wasting time because there is always something at home that needs doing. When we are at my father in laws he loves to feed people and buys food just for us. That's such a great feeling. haha

We also love going to Seaworld. Next time we are down I may hit you up Steve.
Everything happens for a reason. Sometimes that reason is you're stupid and make bad choices.

The one and only time I've been to SeaWorld Orlando was in 1978. We really need to go there one of these days.

Are you guys going to Seaworld for the orcas? I read a report that they predict attendance will increase since they ended the breeding. I might consider going now. We used to live by and I refused to go from back in 2001. Blackfish just confirmed what I thought about them.

My best guess is 8-14. I earn 20 days a year & can carry over 30 days into the next year. Currently at about 28 days of vacation accumulated. I usually take some days off in December for the holidays.

I get 30 days paid vacation a year, and still have some parental leave days saved (I live in Europe) so usually end up traveling about 35 days a year.

We spend about 4 weeks in the US each year on holiday, and then about 1-2 weeks traveling around Europe on ski trips or cultural trips.

It is one of the biggest reasons we have decided to not return home to the US. The vacations are a great chance for us to reunite as a family, relax and destress together.
