That's awesome, Nika! I know that area though haven't been there recently. Sounds like a perfect blend of "next to work, next to life" if it's only a 20-minute walk for your DH. Let's just hope for a mild winter.Steve

What 6 mos are you going to be living there? Winter months? I'd think if then I wouldn't care if there wasn't a lot around because you probably won't be going out much with an infant in the cold weather anyway.
If nicer weather? Then if it were me, ya I want to be where me and the kids could get outside. Good luck with your decision and move.

Congratulations on finding a nice place. It is good that your DH doesn't have to depend on Metro to get to/from work. SAFE Track is still an ongoing project and there will be more single tracking and line shutdowns in the next few months.
