    I agree 100%

The media is very pro Clinton so there's no way for someone like an outsider to win..because an outsider is the ONLY way to get my family back together. The establishment is rigged for the top 1%..leaving the rest of us behind. They are not protecting my job, or any of my self interest".

Does this sound pretty close to a very "frustrated" voter who feels like their voices are not heard?

I'm sorry but you guys need to be an adult. Trump will not get your job back, Clinton will not get your job back. ONLY YOU can get yourself another job. Perhaps you, the frustrated jobless voters, need to get with the times. Globalization is real, technology is real, automation is real, and yes YOUR JOB will SOMEDAY be replaced! No one wants to hear it, and no one thinks their job will be replaced(in fact I asked the question on this forum and not many people think their jobs will be going away).

So what do you end up doing? Live your life depending on some lower level manufacturing job that can easily be replaced by some robot or someone overseas..thinking that it will last forever and NOT living within your means(racking up debt because hey..I have an entire lifetime to pay this off right?).

I'm sorry but this is all your fault because CHANGE is just not part of your vocabulary. If you don't change with the time, you WILL be left behind.

So like I said, I could care less who's president..I just want the president to be a good role model(to prevent social unrest), and someone that doesn't romanticize the past like all you frustrated voters who refuse to change with the time.

Before anyone start jumping in and try to crucifies me as 1 percenter who hates moochers.

I was a Bernie supporter because I believed in:

      1. Want to pay off our national debt and prevent Greece from happening? Single payer health care system will dramatically reduce cost which is the BULK of our national spending.
      2. Repealing citizen united
      3. All his social issues I believe in
      4. Want to raise my taxes?..Sure..whatever..I won't be starving.

I am a Clinton supporter because
      1. 4 more years of the same? Sure..Obama, unlike a bunch of the cry babies, did not ruin my life or doomed America
      2. All her social programs
      3. Her taxes seem fair

Trump on the other hand..I don't believe a single thing he is for. His tax plan doesn't produce enough revenue, his foreign policies are a mess, and his social issues are regressive...like pre-constitution regressive sometimes.
Am I worried about ISIS killing me? No..that's absurd. Over 30k people die each year driving..and I'm here obsessing over dying from some terrorist attack that killed under 100 people since 911?

        He is a business man.

News flash, most major businesses run their money through off shore accounts to avoid taxes. This is normal, although I don't agree with it.

I mean, not really supporting trump but I think all this stuff is stupid to worry about.
Everything happens for a reason. Sometimes that reason is you're stupid and make bad choices.

The article was about the media favoring Clinton like no body's business. It's true, I probably agree to that. But also it gives people more reason to think "you see you see?! America is against me! Everything is rigged!". And my response to that is..WHO GIVES A SH%T IF IT"S RIGGED? Who CARES that they want an insider?! Of course everyone favors someone that doesn't rock the boat. If you don't like the type of government here, then I suggest you try a different country and see how that fairs out. You have PLENTY of choices around the world, from dictators to socialism democracies.

What we have here are two insider parties that pretend to "fight it out" for political gaines but at the end of the day, favors capitalism while providing a decent safety net for elders and the very poor,..the rest needs to be an adult and work on becoming successful yourself.

Yeah, I didn't get the connection you were trying to make with your first ramble.

Personally, I am not a big fan of the "don't like it, then leave" rebuttal. The fact that things are worse in other countries doesn't make what is going on in my country okay.

You go to your car tomorrow morning and find out that your stereo system was jacked so you call the police. They arrive and tell you that if you don't like it, move two streets over where they would have taken your rims also. Thanks officer. I am now grateful that I am only out a stereo.

I never said things are worst in other countries. The Bernie folks would love places like Sweden. Someone like my dad who supports trump because he likes the dictatorish side of him may favor a place like China(and yes he does like the Chinese government being Chinese and used to be part of the communist party). The U.S is not the best country on Earth. We are not #1 in everything..in fact we are #1 in very few things. So just saying folks...this is the type of government we have here..if you want a complete change in the status quo, then I suggest you move to one of those countries with that type of government you like and try it out first.

Many people care about more than their own income or wealth. The part of President Obama’s 2011 tax proposal that would have required anyone earning at least $1 million annually to pay at least 30% in income tax was actually called the Buffett Rule.
Wrong. Buffett would favor higher taxes to make life more difficult for competitors beneath him. Many would not be able to compete and then he can absorb them and the revenue he would be able to bring in by growing his company would dwarf the additional taxes he would pay.

If he really wanted to help more people he could always overpay the government in taxes and/or donate more privately based on an amount commensurate to what he deems is a more "fair share".

The tax system is supposed to be regressive except for those at the very top. They pay less than those below.

Maybe having donated $2,858,057,970 last year was what he deems is a more fair share.

Warren Buffet is also giving away 99% of his wealth to the gates foundation. He's not even trying to set up his own foundation or donate in HIS name. He's super modest and giving it to a foundation he thinks can do better than he can.

I don't see very many other rich people giving away 99% of their wealth.
