Just wanted to weigh in on this - its not clear me that driverless cars are ready for current road conditions. For example, how would they do under highly rutted roads/snowy conditions, etc.
Also, what about areas where there is little wireless coverage? My understanding is a lot of these cars depend on wireless communication to navigate. What they move into an area where there isn't this capability? For example, I live in Oregon and in many parts of the western half of the state there just isn't good wifi.
