Who still subscribes to a Newspaper?

We have become snowbirds and split our time between a city near Boston and a city on the gulf coast of Florida. We can't get delivery of the Boston Globe in Massachusetts-we're outside the delivery area. But, in Florida, we get the Boston Globe delivered no problem by 6:00 a.m. I truly enjoy reading it and getting my news from it.

We also get the local papers in each place...just for the local news and the calendar of events. Everything else, I get online.

I will miss the ritual of reading the physical newspaper when the inevitable happens and it is no longer published.

I like reading a newspaper, but got tired of having to deal with all of the paper waste. Between the paper and junk mail it adds up fast.

Now get my news on line, and just occasionally buy a paper.

I've never been a fan of newspapers. They're awkward to hold and make my fingers spell funny. Growing up, my parents always had the news on TV during dinner and that was where I got all my news. Once I was on my own, I switched to internet news. Eventually, I realized, I get very little value from the news and mostly stopped paying attention. If I hear about something that sounds important or interesting, I'll look it up online or just ask the person who mentioned it.

I get Sunday delivery for coupons $9.76 a month the coupons generally exceed the cost of the paper so it worth it. I get like $2-$3 dollars ahead each month so its like making a few bucks by the end of the year.
