1) Checking your own credit report does NOT affect your score. The credit agencies consider it a soft pull, not a hard pull and therefore does not impact your score.
2) If you have an active fraud alert/security freeze on your credit, annualcreditreport.com may not work. If this is the case, consider other alternatives to get your report for free.
3) They will not provide any kind of credit score, but you can get your score elsewhere if you need it.
