I used to shave once a day until I told my boss to kiss off. Now I'm down to a couple times a month. I'll tell you this, I'm sure saving a lot on blades.

How much do you shave per month ?

I generally go two days between shaving so that would be about 12 times a month. Currently I shave with a double edge safety razor and I purchased a 100 blade pack of Astra Superior Platinum razors off Amazon for under $12. I generally use the same blade for 3-4 shaves before swapping it out for a new blade. Sometimes if the blade feels good and gives me a comfortable shave I will leave it in longer. Conversely if after 1 or 2 shaves it feels uncomfortable or I nick myself I will swap sooner.

I'll answer even if the question was meant as a joke.
I shave every day but I use an electric razor so my cost is minimal. I think my razor was about $35 on Amazon and I've had it for several years and I'm sure I'll have it for several more years before it needs replacing. So let's say I get 8 years out of it. That's $4.38/year. Pretty cheap I'd say.Steve

Actually Steve I've got you beat. I bought a three head norelco at Big Lots seven years ago at Big Lots for $21. I did some calculating that I use about 1 kilowatt hour every 4 months shaving. Our electricity is $.079 per KWH, so I'm spending about $.02 a month on my shaving, or $.24 per year.
My biggest expense was the shaver itself - as of now it has run me $3 per year. Grand total it's $3.24 per year all-in.

I usually shave 40% of my gross hairs (about 60% net) / week. I find that the percentage of hairs shaved has stayed fairly consistent as I get older due to losing some hair where I want to keep it and gaining hair where I don't particularly care to have it.
I have been looking for non-traditional ways to shave as the current shaving is garbage and I'm looking to diversify.
