  • Not enough storage

Anyone receive this message on their phones? And what did you do to fix it? My phone's camera no longer works due to this issue. I intended to purchase 50 gb of additional icloud storage for .99 a month ($12 a year) but decided to delete about half of my pictures/videos and it seemed to help but I'm concerned it will return when I add my more pictures.

    Settings. General. Usage

You can see what is taking up all of your memory. Videos/pictures. Text messages. Etc.

Google iPhone memory full or something like that and you'll find a lot of articles with ideas on how to free up memory. Have you synced your phone with iTunes on your computer? You may find this generic "Other" category that is famous for taking up space. Again the online articles might help

Seeing that you have Virgin Mobile I'll assume you have a 16GB.

Good luck and let us know what you did

Yes it is an iPhone 6 plus (no "S") with 16 gb storage. The additional 50 gb of storage in the icloud used to be $10 per year but now it is .99 cents a month. I was so close to paying the .99 cents a month. My password didn't go thru so it stopped me from paying the fee. I was on the brink of paying though.

Thusfar I've deleted a lot of pictures/videos and some apps that I wasn't using. I'm no longer getting the issue but this is not the first time of deleting pictures/videos and apps. This has been about the 5th time of doing so. Eventually the issue reoccurs after I add more pictures/videos, apps, etc.

Of course. You have a limited amount of storage space. At some point, it will get full. Videos suck up the most, then photos, then apps and data.

Transfer photos to your home computer and back up on an external drive. Those are dirt cheap.

Another iPhone tip that I've found very useful.
Go to Settings>General>Usage>Manage Storage (under Storage, not iCloud). You will get a list of everything on the phone and how much storage it is using. When you click on an app, like Facebook for example, it will show Documents & Data. That is basically crap that you don't need. To get rid of it, delete the app and reinstall it. That will free up that amount of memory. I do this with a bunch of my apps every couple of months and it definitely helps.
