    It sounds like you've done your due-diligence in letting the seller know the item was eventually delivered, and you asked if/how they would like it sent back.

    I don't think you need to follow up again, but if I were you, I'd hang on to the book for 90 days or so just in case the seller is really slow in responding.
    History will judge the complicit.

        No. That was my very first thought. Had she been able to I would have just repaid for the online copy.

          darn. I would just keep the other book and sell it or something if the guy won't pay for return shipping.

              If I were in your shoes, I would wait for the seller's response.

              If they want it back and willing to pay the shipping, sure.
              If they want it back and not willing to pay the shipping, I wouldn't return it.
              If they do not want it back, then cool. You got free book to sell.

              I think they wanting it back but not willing to pay for the return is the least likely to occur though.
