Going snowboarding in Colorado end of Jan for 4-5 days. First time in the mountains but can't wait. Late May or early June I'm looking at Iceland for 7-8 days for international trip. Otherwise hoping to go to the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta in Oct.

My nephew just started an internship with Disney, so we might drive out to Florida during spring break to visit him. Not looking forward to the crowds at all, though. I was planning on a dinosaur dig this year, but we decided to hold off on any big plans until we sell our house and move. To be honest, we did several big trips the last 2 years and I'm kind of sick of it! We have a cottage that we haven't been visiting as much as we should, so that will be the bulk of our vacation time this year.

If you have some time while you're there, take a drive over to Niagara on the Lake which is a nice place to do some shopping, have a good meal, and visit some wineries if you're into that.
Thanks, we hope to see as much as we can, I'm a big sports fan so those places would be awesome for me and my girl loves to shopretired in 2009 at the age of 39 with less than 300K total net worth

We're planning a trip to Florida to catch a couple of spring training games. It's something my husband and I always said would be cool, and this is the year we're going to make it happen. We are going to try to catch a Tampa Bay Lightning game too while we're at it.

So far my plans include another visit to Australia, a country I love because of family connections dating back 170 years, its geographical diversity and the warm, friendly and laid-back way of life of its people. As part of my regular trips there I try to include a few days visiting a part of the country I've not yet seen, this time probably parts of South Australia.
On that same trip I'm going to be making a couple of stop-overs, spending a few days in Mumbai on the way out, then both Dubai and Abu Dhabi on my return, visiting friends in the former and purely sightseeing in the later. Depending on the available time I might also visit Oman to catch up with a friend living in Muscat, some 450km south east of Dubai.
I also have an outstanding invitation to visit friends living in Malta which I'll probably take up at some point in 2016, if for no other reason than to have a week or 10 days in the Mediterranean sun doing very little at all.
