Hello everyone! I did not see an introduction tab for new members so ill just post this here I suppose.

My name is Tanner and I am from the great state of North Carolina! I recently (about 6 months ago) got married and am living in a small apartment with my wife. I work for the state and she is a nanny. We have a small puppy so life is busy! I have found over the years that learn well from reading forums/blogs and learning from others life experiences. I have a "lose" understanding of finances but would love to learn more! I am currently reading "The Truth About money" by Ric Edleman (although Im not very far lol).

Anyway Thanks for reading my post and if you have any suggestions for posts/reading I can do to further my knowledge about finances feel free to post!

I have not read Ric Edleman's book, but I am familiar with his name and know that he is a Boglehead. Therefore, I think his book is a fine place to begin your personal finance self education.

I read that book. It touches on a lot of subjects. You might not agree with everything he writes but it does get the wheels turning about insurance, estates, cars and all that.
