  • Would you wait?

My cardiologist will only allow me to use a recumbent bike for exercise, still at point of no extra walking being allowed. I would've much preferred to hear "walk more" over "get recumbent bike". I've put it off due to cost. After reading a ton of reviews, I've settled on what I want and have been watching the price, it has not changed. Camel camel camel says this is the lowest price in the bike's history. It's already 40% off so they say, which is almost true when I compare the price with sports stores.

Discover and ebates would give me a total of 11% off but the Discover 5% deal ends tomorrow. Would you order when you know you have the 11% off or wait out January for a bit to see if exercise equipment comes down because it's always on sale in January? Does Amazon even roll like other stores when it comes to "sales"?

At any rate, I have to decide because I see cardio Mon and I will feel like a non-compliant patient if I haven't at least ordered a bike. I don't want to lie but I don't want notes in my record that he has ordered something and I have not done it and the notes are sent to SSDI. That would not be in my best interest.

    just buy it tomorrow???

Order the bike. This doesn't seem like a time to pinch pennies if it is being recommended by a cardiologist.

Put me in the just do it camp. It's way important, as you know. I'd say just do it even if you had to pay full price.

If it's a matter of not wanting you to fall far if you should fall during exercise, there are other alternatives. Not necessarily ones that take you somewhere, though. Rowing machine, for example.

it's a stationary recumbent bike and the only equipment he will allow as the feet (in theory) are above your heart. Except I found none that are, this one is closest. I'm gonna pull the trigger, I saved up for it, just do it!

Order it. I think your health is more important than stressing over saving a few dollars. Stress isn't good for the heart you know....
