I do a complete shower at night after getting off from work (sitting at a computer and phone for 10 hours). And then I'll do a rinse off in the morning upon awakening. I like that fresh feeling I get from taking a shower so I cannot miss a shower. It's the same with my mouth. I brush and floss at least twice a day and often more than that on a daily basis. Again I like that clean feeling in my mouth as well.
There is a big difference between showering and brushing/flossing. One is more a habit than anything. The other has clear health consequences. Not brushing and flossing your teeth twice a day can lead to cavities, gum disease, tooth loss, etc. Not showering every day doesn't really lead to much of anything.

Count me in the camp that doesn't shower daily. I shower after I exercise, and I do that 3-4 times per week. During the summer, I'm more likely to shower on other days because I live in a hot humid environment so I sweat a lot. In the cooler months, though, if all I've done is worked and sat at home, I won't typically shower. I wash my hair every morning or else it doesn't behave but I don't shower at night unless I've worked out or otherwise done something to get dirty.

I do some of OP list like going to gas station only when tank is less than 1/4. I don't watch news because I am not interested. I used to have Facebook etc, but now I don't have any social media and it actually saves a lot of time. I gotta say though, you need to enjoy life once in a while.

I shower daily. I feel gross if I don't. It takes 5 minutes and costs pennies in soap, shampoo, and water. I don't really see the benefits of not showering daily. I can easily free up 5 minutes of time someplace else if I really needed to.

The biggest benefit, ever, to optimizing my daily routine was normalizing my sleep schedule. I'm in bed by 10 and I'm out of bed before 6am every single day of the year, with very few exceptions. The mood-stabilizing benefits as well as having predictable/adequate energy levels have been invaluable!

I'm definitely getting into this! It really is life-changing. The hardest part to me though is telling people I've got to leave places early so I can keep my routine. But it's worth it. Usually parties/get togethers seem to just remain the same four 4 hours. I might as well just stay for 1 and get the jist.

I don't use FB for anything but work. I found that I always wanted to spy on and one-up my friends. Was a very negative way to live.
