What do you guys suggest doing if a bill gets sent to collections and you don't owe the bill? Frontier sent my last bill to collections after I explained I do not owe the bill. It's $200 they claimed from me not returning the equipment. I mailed the equipment and kept a photo of the printed label. I mailed it off and whenever I called to talk them they could "suddenly" find it and said it was dealt with. This was trom 2018. I've been getting letters still in November and December 2018. Finally a collections agency started calling me. So now what?

I would call the cable co. and plead my case. Tell them if they don't knock it off, you will call the appropriate state or federal authority over such and file a complaint.
