How important is it that your SO is financially responsible?

I disagree about the car statement. My car is a wreck and always has been and I'm not a financial wreck. I just am not a car person.

That being said I think people are allowed to make financial mistakes. Just if they are on the right track then we can get along. So same values even if they do have debt.
