Here is an explanation about that spam thing.

The guy joined and then posted that message on EVERY thread. It was around 5:00 or so yesterday evening. But Jeffery (or someone) was VERY quick and deleted the messages as he posted them. So, if you weren't on the forum while he was doing it, it might have been confusing to receive all those emails.

Recovering? What is this "recovering"? I am an active clutter-holic and procrastinator! Heck, I was going to reply to this thread yesterday, but I couldn't find my keyboard beneath all the books and papers!

Re: are you a recovering clutter-hollic and procrastinator?

Funny you posted this thread. . . I am interested in becoming a moonlighting professional organizer. I am a reformed slob. I feel that I would be a great organizer because I know how frustrating clutter can be and how it can zap your energy. Also, I know that if I can overcome it, ANYONE can!

To become an organizer, I am starting with my home. Over the last month, I've organized the following:
            -china buffet
            -Master BD closet
            -2 linen closets
            -pantry
            -den closet
            -guest bedroom closet
            -medicine cabinet
            -my car

Things I still need to organize or are still in-work:
            -kitchen cabinets
            -office
            -office closet
            -husband's car

Also, I'm lined up to help my aunt organize her junk room.

i'm still trying to find our balance... i do like it clean and free of knickknacks but then procrastination and cluttering of "useful" items still tends to pile up... and yeah, we move those piles around...

I am admittedly rather anal so....

I don't usually have problem with clutter. Or rather, if I do, it usually doesn't last for long.

I also have to qualify that by stating I only have to clean up after myself.
