I have been hitched to my significant other for a long time now. He is an American. We have a 1 year old who was conceived in the USA. For more than two years now I have been going forward and backward between the USA and Canada on a vistors visa (at regular intervals) I am becoming ill of it. I need to do migration the correct way. I had somebody helping me however then they were excessively occupied, likewise due, making it impossible to genuine hospital expenses we couldn't bear the cost of migration, at long last beginning to set aside cash. I endeavored to get data from the USCIS while in the USA yet they revealed to me I required verification that I entered the USA lawfully, despite the fact that as a Canadian all I required at the TIME and RECENTLY was some ID and evidence of Canadian citizenship (how might I demonstrate that). I have gotten books upon books on migration and it appears to be so convoluted I continue getting diverse data. I am speculating remaining in Canada and applying is the most ideal way anyway I would prefer not to be far from my family for quite a while. Exceptionally focused on today, guidance?

just get married and then get green card and citizenship and go back and forth

This seems a bit odd. Is your son registered as a citizen? Did you bring him with you when you went back and forth (need to show American passport upon entry with dual citizenship). Did you declare your relationship status at the border? I regularly enter the US with a foreign spouse and there is a routine for it. (We have an easy go of it because his record shows we always leave as planned). But if you are having trouble with a green card application from abroad then you need proper legal counsel. There is an expediated process for spouses but from what I have heard it can be tricky.Comment

Did your boyfriend declare himself to be your child's father on his [Canadian] birth certificate? Has/will/can he apply for joint citizenship for his son? Relations between Canada and USA is the worst it has been since 1812, this is not a good time to seek status. If you married an American, he can apply for your status but it is still a major, legal undertaking. Ask boyfriend to find out how many immigrants have been admitted in the past year [or what figures might be available. How many applicants are in line being accepted for processing. If you are in a city with an American Embassy, you can make an appointment to see an agent to inquire the forms and process.
