Anybody else have problems with annualcreditreport.com?

I tried to get my TransUnion report, and it didn't even ask me any questions, I just put in my name, SS# and address, and it told me it couldn’t verify my identity and I could either call or request a report by mail. Perhaps because I got married last year? Last name change?

Then I tried my Equifax report, and I guess I failed a question, because it told me the same thing. It must have been the question asking how much my student loan payments were. How would I know this? I'm not sure I ever paid only the minimum, and they've been paid off for YEARS. So, I took a guess on the multiple-choice.

Honestly, do they expect people to remember the minimum payments on things they paid off years and years ago?

    So frustrating.

How do you all deal with this kind of thing when you request your reports?

I log in to get my free report 3 times a year (one from each bureau each time) and never had any issues. When the questions do come up, it is usually the name of a mortgage or a street where I used to live.

With that said, I've never changed my last name so that might be the issue. Sorry I couldn't be of more help!
