  • What fast food restaurant gives the best value?

OK, this is an ongoing debate with my SO, so I thought I'd post it to a forum about saving money and good value. Which fast food restaurant do you think gives the best value and why (give your reasons for why you think it does) Value, as I'm sure you already know, doesn't mean cheapest. It means gives the best food for the price paid. I'm looking forward to seeing different opinions.

I guess I'd have to subway if we're talking fast food places. It's hard to beat 5$ for A sub salad or flat bread foot long that you can pile high with jalapenos, spinach, yellow/green peppers, tomatoes, and sauces. With some of the sandwiches or veggie salads I've had made, the cost of toppings bought separate would easily eclipse the cost of the sandwich. Regardless of quantity.

The value is lost there if you go for an only meat sub or one of their premium ones that run north of $9 . I usually go for chicken, bacon, Turkey, or ham with no cheese.

My daughter, who is broke, says Taco Bell. $2 gets you 2 burritos and a water. She says it's cheaper for her to eat at Taco Bell than to buy the ingredients and make a burrito.
