Are there any big changes you are planning to make in 2015? I am going to downscale my apartment. This isn't because I have to, but because I like the idea of a smaller place and one that costs less money each month. I know it goes against the "bigger is better" mentality of alot of people, but I think it will be a good move on my part.

Big change? We're going to buy a new refrigerator. Okay, maybe that doesn't sound so big but ours is over 20 years old. I'm sure it is horribly inefficient so getting a new one will likely show up as an immediate savings on our electric bill.
We went shopping once and were not at all happy with anything we found after visiting 4 major appliance retailers. We're probably going out again today. We will probably just have to settle for the "best" of what we find rather than what we actually want. They don't seem to make what we're looking for anymore. Everything today is stainless steel and French doors, bottom freezer. We don't want any of those things. We also don't want an ice maker or anything on the door to dispense ice or water. We're finding that narrows our options severely leaving us only one or two poorly made choices.Steve

I am once again contributing to my Roth IRA, I have always done 12% into my retirement at work but have not added to my Roth in 10 years, I just sent my info for payroll deduction to HR to once again add to my Roth and I am really having fun researching what investment I want to add to my portfolio. Happy and prosperous new year everyone.
