    I can agree with that in some areas -- my mom didn't eat too healthy until after having heart attacks at ages 39 and 41, when I was in 8th and 10th grades. After Heart Attack #2 she finally started eating healthy and exercising.

    There are all those important things around growing up that she did teach me -- such as manners. and to do my homework and study. and to pick up after ourselves.

    I can't say she and my dad were the best role models though, because they are total packrats, and I'm trying to break those habits now! Luckily my boyfriend is from a neatfreak family, and his influence is rubbing off on me.

      Eat Less, Exercise More. (if only I could follow that advice)

      Respect and love animals, and they'll usually treat you better than most people.
