Not a huge breakfast eater...I like lighter menus early on. Common options:

    - 1/2 regular bagel, toasted with cream cheese.

    - Cup of fat-free yogurt, raspberry or strawberry

    - 1 oz cheese stick with mini while wheat bagel.

    - Slow cook oatmeal with milk and butter.

    - Scrambled egg with some cheese and an English muffin.

    - Fresh fruit - usually a banana.

    - Fresh fruit medley: half a banana with sliced strawberries, in milk, with half a bagel.

    - Bowl of cold cereal - Special K with Berries is the current favorite.

          Hello Members,
I use to have 4 slices of brown bread with yellow butter and with mixed fruit jam. In beverage I prefer hot coffee. Some time I prefer fresh fruits as per the season.

          Thanks

Usually one of two things. Homemade granola or yogurt/cottage cheese with fruit.

              Not a cereal person.

Basic plan tends to be a small portion of protein, fruit and some times a carb. Often have
              egg (onlette or fried)
              cottage cheese
              yogurt
bread or bagel w/cheese, cream cheese of PB
              humos
about 1x/week I do pancakes or waffles

IF I have it on hand it can be leftover pasta, leftover salad, leftover pizza........

I DO 2-3 cups of coffee

                    Smoothie:
Handful of mixed frozen berries. 1/2 banana 1/4 cup raw oats and top it with lactose free milk. Blend, drink and wash down with a little O.J.. On an off day I may have a big Chili Omelet with cheese and sour cream. I just hope the smoothie I have on most days offsets the omelets calories

Just a smoothie and 1 boiled egg. Every morning. I am a creature of habit, for sure.

                      The smoothie: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Plus frozen berries, orange juice, and some vitamins = delicious.

I generally eat an oats and honey granola bar and a cheddar cheese stick before heading outside to do the morning farm chores. Then when I get back inside I'll make a bigger breakfast. What depends on whether or not any of the chickens have laid eggs. Choices around here are egg and toast, omelet (meat, cheese, green onions, diced tomato) and hash browns made from leftover baked potatoes, a pancake or waffle (I make big batches and freeze them) and choice of ham, bacon, or rabbit sausage, a piece of breakfast casserole I made on the weekend, or leftovers from dinner, with a glass of milk. Sometimes I will add a banana if I am particularly hungry. I don't tend to eat lunch until 2 or 3 though.

Oatmeal and coffee. I make both at home or use one of those Flavia machines at work.

I live in Sri Lanka and most of us do eat rice and curry as the breakfast or bread and curry. What I like to eat everyday for the breakfast is something like string hoppers with some spicy curry. In my opinion in Sri Lanka we have few of the greatest meals one can possibly have.

Breakfast at my home varies greatly. It could be eggs in any form ( I really like frittatas and omelets) with or without bacon, link sausage or ham. I make things from scratch and freeze, so my freezer might contain homemade biscuits, scones, muffins, pancakes, welsh cakes or waffles. I sometimes bake coffee cake or French toast, pecan rolls, donuts etc. I am a pastry chef. I sometimes will make plain oatmeal, or add fruits nuts or raisins. I make my own granola and baked oatmeal. Recently started making refrigerated oatmeal. Ilike cream of wheat too. I enjoy flavored coffees and I grind my own beans.

Breakfast is really brunch at my home, as I typically eat around noon. This morning I had whole wheat pancakes with a squeeze of fresh lemon and a sprinkle of sugar on top. I drank a cup of flavored Danish Pastry coffee.
