Same here, just Netflix and Amazon prime. Keep on Netflix'n. I'm a stockholder and believer in challenging big cable until they adjust their pricing and/or offerings.

We've gone 7 years without cable. That's over $10K. I can watch anything I want with Netflix. I may not be able to watch it when it first comes out on TV, but I am patient. I can watch it when it comes out on DVD or streaming. That's good enough for me.

Wow I didn't realize so many people had given up cable. I thought I was very alone in not paying for TV. Agree with those who have a netflix/amazon prime. That is plenty of entertainment for me. If you are a student you can get Amazon prime for just 49/year. Can't beat that.

Also, with HBO coming out with their stand alone internet subscription, I think cable will be having a long slow death. More and more, if people must pay for TV, they will be able to pay for just the channels they want on an individual basis.

People have been wanting a-la-carte programming for at least 30 years, and the cable companies have resisted, justifying the bundling by saying that the money supports the award-winning programming seen on shopping/religious/Spanish channels. They've done a great job bilking consumers, and now suddenly have to react to something that disrupts their monopolies.

              No Cable

We cut the cable bill as well. Only netfix... I do miss the news, especially the business channels.
