My husband and I are going to a wedding in Tampa this month on the 15th, so we decided to take a few extra days and go to Disney. We're so excited!
I never went to Disney as a kid, but I did go for a day a few years ago as an adult when I was at a conference in Orlando. Is it weird that we're so excited as 33 year old adults with no children?
We decided to stay at one of the "value" resorts - the Pop Culture - because we wanted to try staying on-site and it was pretty reasonably priced. People on some Disney boards recommended it because it has it's own bus line, whereas the other three value resorts share a bus line. We thought it would be fun to stay at a Disney property for once - and maybe enjoy whatever "extended hours" you get. We'll also get free parking which we figured was worth $15 a day, too.
We got 2 days of tickets. We haven't been to Animal Kingdom so we're going to go there for the first day and then see where we feel like going the next day.
I know there is already a thread about this, but I was so excited I had to start my own.
We can't be the only full grown adults who love Disney world without kids!
