  • What luxury do you want?

If money weren't an option, what luxury would you want?

I would love to have a personal chef if I could afford it as well as a personal trainer. I can do both on my own, but I would eat so much more better with a personal chef and I think I wouldn't be so off and on with working out if I had a trainer.

My goal is to work for six months/travel for six months every year... oh yeah, and the work has to be something I really love doing!
Current Status: Traveling North American in our 1966 Airstream. Check out the remodel here.

          Retirement.

I can list plenty of things or experiences I would like if money was not object but the ability to not have to work would be number one. I'd happily forgo all of the other stuff if I could have enough money to maintain our current lifestyle without the need to work.

          * Why should I pay for my daughter's education when she already knows everything?

A location independent job that would allow me to travel long term with my family. I spend several hours a week brainstorming how to make this happen haha. Biggest hurdle we have is that I have all these great ideas but they take time and money to start up and being a one income household makes it challenging to find either of those resources. ::sigh:: Someday

If money was no object...I'd enjoy the luxury of a RoadTek RV but I'd be reluctant to spend that much for wheels. [DH unexpectedly sold our RV when someone offered to buy our older rig for more than it's market value].

To have my own light aircraft, or a light aircraft I could fly in whenever I wanted to.

Maybe to go on a chauffer driven trip to a cruise liner and see the Northern Lights.

I'd wish for the ability to either not work, or work whenever I want. Either early or semi-retirement.

Failing that a 3 bedroom house for my family, with a yard to grow my own plants. Solar panels all over the place. Getting as close to self sufficient as humanly possible, without cutting much convenience.

I can think of some big things, like a bigger travel budget and an addition on my house.

But really the luxury that would make the biggest difference to me would be a biweekly housecleaner. I really hope I can afford that some day. My house is never quite clean enough and I always feel guilty and stressed about it.

Oh, and if money were REALLY no object I'd quit one of my my jobs.
