Possibly. That will partly depend on how much she earns during the summers, how much costs rise over the 4 years, the cost of books and other supplies, and some other things we can't yet predict. If it isn't completely debt free, it should be only a modest amount that she needs to borrow.Steve

I don't think parents are obligated to pay for anything. If they can, that's great. We will certainly do what we can. We definitely can't pay for grad school to the extent that we're paying for undergrad. We've been saving in her 529 for years for that but that money will be spent over the next 2-3 years. We can help with grad school but the rest will be on her. Of course there are more ways to cover grad school costs. You can have a job that has tuition reimbursement. You can be doing paid research work. You can be a teaching assistant.
