I buy new clothes but rarely anything expensive. I shop at TJ Maxx and try to keep each shirt under $20

I work from home, so I usually dress casually. I don't have any 'ragged' clothing though, if something is not looking OK, I throw it away, even if it was just for wearing at home. My home clothes look pretty decent, so I can go out, if needed and not look too weird

Cheap i have nothing really to dress up for. And I would say that my weight fluctuates so it depends.

Around the house I wear sweats/yoga pants and a T-shirt.

Out in public I wear jeans and a T-shirt, decent, no holes

To church I wear nicer pants and shirt/blouses.

            I do repair my clothes.

My aunt is a pretty good seamstress, and she has made repairs to some of my jeans over the years. It's saved me a ton.

              dressing

Business suits or very nice "business casual" for work. I work with executives in state government often so I need to be ready to support them, if needed. I change as soon as I get home into shorts/T's or sweats/yoga pants.

I take good care of my work clothes. While I may look put together for several hundred dollars I buy the best on sale, even buying a high end $800 dollar suit 5 years ago (for $60 clearance) and having it altered as it was much to big. This is important for work. but ALWAYS on extreme sale.

Casual clothes - khakis, jeans, non "name brand" always bought on sale, simple dresses, skirts, shorts in summer.

Evenings and house work days: sweats and t shirts, old holey sweaters/sweatshirts. I wear some of these when walking my clients dogs. When referred to their neighbors for potential clients, the neighbors are always surprised I am nicely put together when they interview me.

Right now I wear a threadbare, ripped jeans (my only one) and a tee with more than a couple of holes in it.

Me too. What I wear today doesn't cost me anything (all hand me downs except underwear). So okay, underwear ... $1?
