    Cholesterol 171
    HDL Cholesterol 66
    Cholesterol/HDL ratio 2.6
    HDL Chol % - 38.6
    LDL 93
    VLDL 12
    Triglycerides 61
    Glucose 81

    Everything else, perfect.
    Slightly better than 2 years ago. (only glucose remains the same year after year)

    What does that have to do with money? Down the line, probably a lot in terms of healthcare spending.

    I'm not a doc, but I think those results are good?

    And with regards to money, it means saving more for a longer retirement! I wonder how the concept of "retirement" is going to evolve as more and more people live on to see age 100 or greater.
    History will judge the complicit.

      Not just down the line. Even today, keeping yourself in good health is saving you money. It limits your time missed from work. It limits your utilization of healthcare resources - fewer doctor visits, fewer copays, fewer prescriptions, fewer ER visits and hospitalizations.

      I wish people appreciated the huge financial impact their lifestyle and behavior had. Maybe it would encourage them to take better care of themselves (though I somehow doubt it).
