I'm a clinical researcher working on cardiac surgery device/drug studies.

I want to go back to school for a degree in integrated marketing communications; I think I'd like to work in a healthcare marketing role.

It's curious that there are so few (if any) people here who seem to have low pay or minimum wage jobs. I guess it's harder to save at those levels of income, but I find it's very hard to compete when so many are able to save twice as much as I earn in a single year.

Ah man, I need to get a better job quickly.

I am a very restless person and have been shifting careers frequently. But the one thing that I stick to is saving a certain percentage of my total earnings- whether its just 10% if its less or 25% if its good. This I think helps me sail through all difficult times with triumphant colors.

We started out saving on one salary while paying for grad school. Yes we make okay money but we always have to be very careful because my husband is military and I might not be able to get the same level job at the next place.

I find it curious as well. I never expected to see the types of jobs, etc that I've been seeing. But I have notice lots in much higher paying jobs than I have ever had still having money troubles and having difficulty making ends meet. I appreciate any advice I hear that I can apply since having enough income will always be difficult for us due to health concerns.

Me too! It all started with blogging, and now I write for other people's sites. Plus I have a part time job in education.

I'm not sure what is considered low pay/ high pay. It is all in what you do with what you earn. Not so much how much you earn in my opinion.
