Your discription is how we would describe "a lady of the night", in this part of the country.
She and her husband send over 20 low income kids to 4H camp, Girl Scout camp and church camp each year, paying for it out or their own pockets.
She works at a center for expectant girls and at a shelter as well as a pantry, without pay. When funds are low, this woman has paid peoples heat bills, and personally bought them baby formula.
When there is a fire, she and her husband are not only there as volunteer firefighter/emts, but after several fires have returned taking their RV for the burned out family to live in, with it stocked with food, blankets and clothing. She has taken bales of hay over to a family who just lost their hayfield after a fire and needed it to feed their stock. All without taking a cent.
They paid college tution for a young lady at church who was going to have to drop out of her last year of nursing school after her husband died of cancer, she is now an RN due to her and her husband keeping her in school and providing childcare free while she went to class.
She has raised and helped raise numerous foster children. Having this background, she was upset to see a child without a coat while the parent provided only for herself.
She helps teach adults to read, has paid for an elderly mans glasses and anothers hearing aids.
But rarely will she tell you she has done these things.
YOU call her cheap and not in a good way?? You are vastly mistaken. Vastly.
I just joined this site, and have already noticed some of your posts where you have told another person they were "rude", and have accused another poster on 8-16 of being a judge. Examine your own words.
You have my blood boiling. This person is not "cheap and not in a good way". You don't know her, if you only did you would realize the error of your statement.
I'm not sure at this point I even want to be on this site any longer. Maybe after I calm down.
